Thankful

thankful 1But You placed the son of man just beneath God and honored him like royalty, crowning him with glory and honor.
Psalm 8:5 *

“God bestowed on man a measure of His own glory. In some refracted way we each possess His image.
But the effect of sin is to so mar and tarnish God’s image in us that we hardly recognize its presence. The effect of evil on a good creation is always one of undoing it”.

As I read this passage from “Living In The Light Of Eternity” by Paul and Stacy Rinehart I realized how true this is.
How the enemy is constantly working to undo what God intends for our good, attempting to turn the gifts He has given us into idols that we worship, convince us that God is not good after all that if He does exist He does not care….
It is easy in this all out assault to lose sight of God’s goodness, the battles that are won, the evil that is being defeated, the lives that are being changed. Darkness turned into light, defeat turned in to victory. Chains of bondage and addiction that are broken…

With that in mind I thought it would be good to share testimonies of what God is doing. Of His amazing grace, power and love for those who have been or are going through battles, storms and trails.
These testimonies are real. My hope is that they will encourage you and give you strength for the journey!
Thank You, God, for being my anchor of hope. For being there for me when I was stuck in a dark pit of despair. Thank you, Lord, for giving me the strength to keep walking even when I wanted to die. You saved my life, You gave me ever lasting hope!!! You are my saving grace!!! I praise Your mighty name!!!praise 1

  1. Thank you Cliff for sharing these testimonies. We are among a cloud of many witnesses whom The Lord calls His own. Praise The Lord. We are not alone in Him and in His family here.
We taught the orphans at Pokhara – God is good , all the time. All the time, God is good though we may not see His invisible hand in our lives all the time
